Sharon Osbourne has already had plenty of family joy with her three children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack, and now she’s expecting a new addition to her rock and roll clan. Mrs. O, who returned to her CBS show, “The Talk” last week after taking some time off to have a few body tune-ups, excitedly announced that she’s going to become a grandmother for the first time in the spring, telling her audience, “My gorgeous son, Jack, and his amazing fiancée Lisa [are] going to have a baby in April… Our family is growing and I love that.”
Jack, the youngest member of the Osbourne clan at 25, announced his engagement to girlfriend Lisa Stelly just two weeks ago, but his mother is far from concerned about the couple’s future as a family. “It’s a blessing. It’s a joy,” said Osbourne. “He’s young, [but] he’s got an old soul, and Lisa is very, very nurturing.”
As for her relationship with her future grandchild, Osbourne says she won’t be the disciplinarian she had to be with her own children. “That’s what comes with being a grandmother; you can spoil, you can indulge.” That policy goes as far as what the baby will call her – there will be no old lady names for this feisty fifty-something. “The baby’s going to have to call me Shazzer or Mrs. O,” she proudly announced.
